Dana “DeltaDana” Akins-Adeyemi is a design, innovation, and systems strategist, consultant, educator, and founder of DeltaDana Designs. Her background spans mechanical engineering, industrial design, design thinking, human-centered design, product development, UX research, teaching, and organizational change.
Dana began her career in mechanical engineering before expanding into design for manufacturing, industrial design, and human-centered design. Her professional path has included work with major organizations, teaching roles, consulting, and community-centered design work. She has taught at the University of North Texas and Rhode Island School of Design, and she brings a rare blend of engineering rigor, design empathy, lived experience, and systems-level thinking to conversations about the future of work.
